Terracotta Garden Wares

To enable terracotta wares to resist frost,I always fire them to a temperature high enough to ensure vitifrication and to prevent moisture from being easily absorbed. |

I have recently begun to produce Green Man plaques. such as the one shown which was inspired by the model on the Victoria Pub in John Bright Street,Birmingham. This is designed in the form of a wall plaque that may also be mounted on a post perhaps to be positioned emerging from surrounding greenery as legend would imagine. |

These garden troughs have a simple decoration made from applied clay sprigs.They can be made in a range of sizes and supplied with or without drainage holes. |

| This wall pot is assembled from a thrown piece of terracotta clay joined to a flat back.The decoration on the pot shown has an inscribed landscape view but may have other styles. |
